    At first I mistakenly tried Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi. It connected WiFi and recorded a trip for three hours. The image is very clear. Note that it does not come with a Sim card so you have to insert one before you can use it. It does not mirror the rear view so it’s a bit confusing if you want to use it to see behind you. They were very helpful at giving me instructions to update this is a feature but the instructions have not worked for that part. It will be a five star product when they get the mirroring updated.

    Original review:
    1) The video quality is fine.
    2) Unfortunately, the camera locks most of the video files which prevents them from being automatically overwritten; as a result, a 32GB SD drive will fill up in a few hours. The only solution is to periodically remove the disk and erase the files manually. (solved, see below)
    3) emails to the seller regarding the above problem have gone unanswered. (solved, see below)
    4) camera mount is cumbersome and the large knobs hit the rear of my legs when mounted on the seat post. (solved, see below
    ================================
    Updated:
    I originally gave this camera only one star because, as mentioned above, it locked most of the video files which prevented them from being automatically overwritten (photo). Unfortunately, my emails to the seller about the problem went unanswered which was frustrating. However, it turns out the best way to contact the seller is through their Facebook page, i.e., do not use email! Once we connected, they have been very responsive and quickly provided a simple-to-install firmware update/patch that solved the problem of files locking unnecessarily.

    My other initial concern was regarding the mounting system. Because my road bike top tube has a gentle slope, there is only about 8” of seat post to play with for mounting the camera. As a result, the thumbscrew that holds the light to the mount stuck out far enough to hit the back of my leg while pedaling. Fortunately, it turns out the hardware is 10-32 SAE (English threads) so it’s easy (at least in the U.S.) to modify. The solution was to replace the original thumbscrew with a ¾” 10-32 cap screw (photo). Note that, depending on the design of your frame, this may or may not be a problem. For example, my gravel bike has a compact frame with a more extreme slope to the top tube, allowing the light to be mounted lower on the longer seat post, providing plenty of clearance.

    I ride 7K+ road/gravel/mtb miles per year and my main interest in this device is 1) the rear-facing light; and 2) to record/document interactions with motorists while riding on the road, so I have no interest in using the live, rear view camera feature. That said, at this point I am quite satisfied with the TEENTOK. Compared to the original 1st generation Fly6 camera/light combo I have been using for the past couple of years (which died recently), this camera has higher quality video and the settings can be adjusted via an app. I haven’t tried the latest, 3rd generation HD Fly6 but, at less than half the price, the TEENTOK camera/light represents great value. Hopefully, I will get at least a couple years of use out of it.

     I tried installing the app so that I could turn off the video lock and setup my preferences but gave up on the shady XYZ Cami app or whatever name its now called. I decided to view the video just by taking out the SD card so that I interface with the camera only to charge, turn it on/off and start video. About a week after I bought this camera I was struck by a truck the morning of New Years Eve driven by an intoxicated man. The video taken by the camera came out very clearly and will make the purchase worth every penny. As others have mentioned, the mount that comes with the camera is pretty cheap and broke on impact. I can replace the mount though, and I would recommend anyone thinking of purchasing this camera to spend $15 on a better mount, lest it break while you are hopping a curb and you don’t realize that your camera fell off as you ride away. Despite the quirks, I am so fortunate that I decided to buy this camera.

    This camera does not work. They directions are written in broken English and the word “beep” is spelled “bibi” What the heck is that?

    The is supposed to connect to your phone via WiFi but the WiFi never works. I spent two hours trying to get it connected and it connected once. Then the app you are supposed to download does not exist in the Google Play store, so I downloaded three that looked “shady” and amazingly one of them worked, BUT I could never get the WiFi to connect. Very frustrating and disappointing. There is so much garbage that is sold on Amazon.

     I was actually just looking for a new bike tail light when I found this new light and camera combination in one, which could replace my old bike mirror at the helmet, which never really worked for me. So I gave it a try and it turned out that it was a very good decision to buy because it really works. It does not only work somehow, but really good with good quality video and stable connection all the time with no disconnection. It was just a bit difficult to find the new Android app (Wonderful•XDY CAM instead of the old RORO CAM), but it seems it’s working good and it was easy to connect and every time I use it I have to just to connect to the camera’s wifi and start the app and the live stream video from the back is already there and I can make recording of video and photo. I was a bit scared at the beginning, how long it would record and transmit video at the same time, but with just one battery charge it was recording 4.5 hours continuously in good quality. My GoPro usually stops recording after about 45 minutes. What a difference. Also a was a bit concerned about video shaking, but it turned out that the camera does a great job on stabilization (almost on GoPro level) and hence I cannot find any shaking in the video at all. There is also a strong compression in the video, so the footage of the full 4.5 hours fit easily on just one 32GB micro SD card, so I can go for a long bike ride and still have all footage without old footage overwritten. BTW: there is also a ‘crash’ function to prevent important footage being overwritten. For me it’s a new level of comfort and safety for bike riding.
