I bought this camera for my husband, we wanted something light but with quality, and this small camera was perfect for him.
The camera has very straight forward navigation and is easy to use.

My 8yo wanted a digital camera, but I didn’t want to spend a ton of money in case he didn’t take care of it – or in case he lost interest in it quickly. This has been a great option so far. He’s had it for two weeks and still loves carrying it around. He’s enjoyed both taking pictures and video with it. Haven’t yet tried uploading the pictures onto a computer, but he just likes looking at them later on the camera. The picture quality is OK for our purposes – not sure how well it would translate to printing, but for his purposes it’s perfect.

I had a hard time with this review. The camera is a gift for a 10 year old child, with a good amount of intelligence. So, he will be able to figure out and understand the surprising amount of features. I however, have a background in photography. I have three Nikons and understand the limitations of this camera. The best I can do is say the pictures are fine for a 10 year old. He will get pictures he finds acceptable. I used it for several hours in case he asked me anything about it. (He didn’t) It’s full of fairly conveniently organized features. (though the manual requires some head scratching and sorting out) I know the difference between optical zoom and digital zoom, this one has digital zoom. (a true bummer for me, but again, he won’t care and may never use the feature) At this price point, this is a “good enough” camera. I’m not criticizing it. I knew what I was buying and it was specifically bought for a 10 year old first camera. I will say the flash (I hesitate to call it a flash, it’s a flashlight) though is virtually useless. He however, loves it, so “I’m out…” 🙂

The camera was purchased for a 6th grader. It came with two batteries that quickly charged. We purchased an SD card for a few dollars and we were ready to take pictures. The camera cost was reasonable and we were happy with the purchase and bought a second for the 6th graders brother.

This camera was easy to setup and easy to use. The fact that it came with battery and charger is a huge plus. I gave this to my younger 7 and 9 year old kids for Christmas and they absolutely loved it. A great beginner camera with plenty of options.

They have a “items bought with this camera”…a case and a memory card. Bought them both. Apparently it is the wrong memory card….guess Im out a few bucks and have ordered a sandisk ultra plus microsdxc uhs-i card with adapter. Camera came very quickly and in good shape….waiting for my memory card before taking pictures. It looks very well built. Exactly what what I need when fishing etc.. Bought some optic paper for cleaning lens. Its too easy to put your fingers where they shouldnt be.
K….takes great pictures, is solid and it is made in Canada. Changed my rating after using it and cooled off.

Can’t say enough good things about this camera – my daughter wanted an “old school” camera lol and she selected this one – she has been super happy, just a reminder to all who don’t know, you will want to purchase a larger memory card to hold more pictures – simple SD card works :). Highly recommend!

Our 10yr old daughter has been expressing and interest in photography, so we got her this camera for Christmas. The size is convenient for whatever bag or Fanny pack she wants to take it in and the features are similar to what you’d find in a more advanced camera, so it’s good exposure to start. The battery life is great and even comes with an extra battery, but just keep in mind that an actual SD card didn’t come with this purchase. Our daughter is enjoying it and love the camera color as well.
