I don’t spend the time to write a lot of reviews. With that being said i’m writing one now because I was impressed with how far their customer support went to make sure i was taken care of as a customer. using this rig for a 4th axis with a gimble (dji osmopod) was great. it’s lightweight and sturdy with comfortable grips, When i was putting it together i noticed the removable arm was not really making an audible click when it was pushed all the way in. it still felt like it was securely in place. It was not. the arm would kind of randomly fall off. It fell off one night while i was out in the dark trick or treating. I never heard or felt it fall of. I contacted fantaseal to attempt to order the part. They immediately offered to just send the part which i accepted. When it arrived it was not the part it was a hand gimble product they sell. i contacted them and let them know they sent the wrong thing and offered to send it back. not only did they let me keep that, they sent me a full replacement for this. As it turns out the arm does click in on this one, it’s a solid product.

I’m in real estate and I use this to hold a drone for interior house videos. The gimbal on the drone does all the stabilization and it keeps me from having a second expensive piece of equipment to carry around (both the drone and a gimbal-cam). My only wish is if the mobile phone mount could be in the middle when using the full oval configuration, instead off to one side which makes balance a bit awkward. I had to make my own mount for holding the drone, so I may just add another mount in the middle for the mobile phone.

I used this product for some simple phone video. I need to make it clear that I am an experienced professional who uses all kinds of photography and videography gear so this was not a matter of user error. I know how to tighten things down to the point where they should stay in place. The bottom line for this product is that it is cheaply made, falls apart, and when tightening any of the components they consistently slip and my phone even fell off twice. While I was filming, the element slipped again and my video went sideways. I was out of town and in the middle of a forest so I didn’t have a lot of options other than to attempt to keep using this equipment. I don’t know how it got so many positive reviews, maybe other people had a better product and I got one that happened to not work in multiple places (the ball joint and the mounts seemed tight but always slipped). Thank goodness I wasn’t using my DSLR that day! Shuddering to think what could have happened. Also the grip component on one side did not stay in place. The design and concept is a good idea but the functionality has zero follow through. Do not buy this equipment, invest the extra $50 like I should have and get something that might actually keep the device in place. If I had tightened those pieces any further, I would have had to undo them with a wrench. Ridiculous. Even then I think it would have slipped. So frustrating. Pass on this one.

Excellent product. This is an affordable way to improve the quality of your video production. The stabilizer build quality feels very solid, it has kind of a rubberized finish which is perfect for wear and tear. The foam handles feel very comfortable. The ergonomics of this item will improve your camera angles. It is not as effective as more expensive gimbal stabilizers but it does get you better quality footage. Fit and handling was great with the GoPro and my Panasonic G85. The adapters to mount accessories are nice as well. This is well worth the price tag in my opinion.
