I love this mount. I really wanted a single solution for mounting my light and my computer, since I really don’t like to have too much clutter on the bars. I bought this so I could try the rubber band as a solution since there aren’t a lot of lights that use the friction flange like a GoPro. I didn’t love that, but I was able to modify a mount for a Cygolite to use on my generic headlight. This combo is killer for a budget light mount.

I really wanted to like this mount. As a substitute for the K-Edge at such a great price this could have hit the nail on the head. It’s solid aliuminium, non-branded and the color blends into the bars well. The only reason I’m docking a star is purely cosmetic, and maybe some function. When mounting a bolt on this mount, there is not enough offset in the mount to allow the screen of the unit to sit flush with the bars. With this, the headunit ends up a few cm higher than the bars which disrupts some of the asthetic. Contrast this to the OEM bolt mount which has enough verticall offset to adjust the face level. However, if this does not bother you, then I 100% recommend this mount

Was able to fit both my wahoo and cateye ampp light. Secured the light using the rubber band provided.

Update. My original rating was 5 stars but the unit snapped in half on a road ride and it had been in use for less than 500 miles. I had not crashed after I bought the device so it was simply metal fatigue that casued the failure. Thank goodness I had the Cycliq tethered!

Quite pleased with this purchase. The mount allows me to remove clutter from the handlebar by holding the Wahoo computer and camera exactly in the front of the stem. The mount is aluminium and seems very strong and light. I use it on my gravel bike that gets very shaky sometimes when going through rough terrain. I have not use the flash light holder, which is more suited for commuting in asphalt riding.

This is perfect for my needs. It holds the cyclometer and GoPro up and out a few inches from the handlebars so the drops don’t show in the frame. All metal so doesn’t shake and clamps down tightly. Also the clap itself is a little thinner than the plastic mount my Wahoo Fitness ELEMNT comes with so it takes up slightly less room on the bars. Only minor issue is that because it is all metal, the GoPro mount doesn’t clamp down quite as tightly as a the plastic mounts so sometimes the camera tilts up a little bit.

UPDATE: I originally gave this 5 stars. Seemed strong and held my camera and Wahoo Computer. a couple of months after using it, the stem just snapped in half. Thank goodness I had lanyards for my computer and camera or the would have been damaged, if not destroyed. Wasn’t in a race, or a gravel ride or anything with lots of impact/shock. On an easy, soft pedal ride on a smooth residential street when it broke.

I purchased this out front mount so I could mount my action camera along with my computer. As you can see from the pictures the brand new Roam computer flew off and hit the ground shattering the glass screen.

After further inspection the WH (wahoo) insert and broke.

It was a good bump but I’ve hit stiffer holes and bumps with the original mount and it would never fly off.

    New a safe buy.

When assembling a new-to-me bike, I needed a mount to either combine the head-unit and headlight, or move the mount to the right side of the stem from the default left of the stock Wahoo mount. This Dymoece seemed to fit the bill and was substantially less expensive and less logo-covered than the K-Edge and Barfly options. So far I’m quite impressed – unlike other reviewers experiences, this seems sturdy enough over the brutally pothole’d surfaces of SoCal. I will report back if it fails.

Moving the headlight out front under the head unit is a nice bonus, though I fear I’m going to lose the rubber o-ring thing as compared to a captive velcro strap like the Two Fish Lockblock holder. Maybe I’ll experiment with a mashup between the lockblock and gopro mount.

Knocking a star from this as it does not have an integrated rubber strip to keep it from destroying the finish of the bars like many similar mounts now do. It’d also be nice if the corners were radiused a little more gently, but that’s just a nice-to-have.

Edit: 2 months in and this is still going strong, maybe I got a lucky break. I always ride with the head unit and a 120g light mounted below per the pic; have lightly crashed once and ride ‘cobbles’ and chopped up pavement regularly on 28s.

Obligatory bike industry rant: I wish the big vendors like Giant and Trek would move toward native accessory mount points for things like head units and lights (come on; we’ve had bottle cage mounting bosses for literal decades now and could use the same “technology” for other things that everyone puts on their bikes) to render clamp mounts unnecessary, but this seems like a weirdly persistent anachronism for a market that prides itself on other unnecessary tech advances every year to sell more product. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
