It didn’t fit, it was too wide and long. I have the GoPro 8 camera, this is crazy I really needed this piece & it didn’t fit what so ever. I wasted money and time waiting on it !!!! I needed this for a trip to vlog it…..

Great replacement for my GoPro hero 7 black. Fits great and the quality is great.

Fits my GoPro Hero 5 just like the original sliding cover. Looks just like the factory piece and comes with a little case to put it back into in case you ever have to take off the cover again. It may be a touch overpriced at the $15 I bought it for but I’d rather pay $5 more than I think it’s worth than get a cheap piece of garbage that doesn’t fit adequately or look good.

This was a very good fit and works just like the original would. My only issue was there was not good instructions on replacing it. This only mattered because I didn’t have the original so it took me a bit to figure it out.

Since getting the battery door, I can now power my GoPro 8 without the battery. The door fits perfectly and spring to release have no issues.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting to power this GoPro using an external battery.
