I had high hopes for this, but- It doesn’t work. Just spins around and wobbles no matter what you do. Maybe it’s just a bad one, maybe it’s just poor design. Either way, it doesn’t work and is getting returned. I’ll try to find something else.

I use this swivel with a GoPro Hero5 Black. The piece feels sturdy, its metal, good knurling pattern across it, and until just a moment ago it would rotate. I was trying to determine which way it rotated and now it seems to not rotate the same way. It’s not sitting flush (with itself) .
I am passed my return window so I will contact customer service and see what I can do. Update later – its currently mid Jan 2022.

I bought this to have a mount on the waverunner that rotates. It rotates easily while on the move, yet is rigid enough to keep the setting until manually moved.

No more fiddling or twisting with adapter arms or flexible heads not holding position, especially when used outdoors for rough terrain. This has a spring loaded cylinder that you just lift up on the camera to rotate it, and the spring pulls it back down and locks it in place with internal stop positions. All aluminum construction as well, so no broken tabs.
